How to get there
The High Museum of Art is located at 1280 Peachtree St NE, just steps away from other top Atlanta attractions. Pay parking is available on site in the museum’s parking garage, with additional street parking in the surrounding area. The Arts Center Transit station, just a 5-minute walk away, is served by Atlanta’s metro and bus systems. To reach the station by metro, take the red or gold lines; buses #27, #37, #40, #110, and #203 also stop at the Arts Center Transit station.

It’s easy to combine the High Museum of Art, which is open from Tuesday through Sunday, with nearby attractions in the Atlanta Arts District. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days at the museum, with weekday traffic peaking on Fridays. Daily highlights tours are offered free with museum admission, and depart from the Taylor Lobby.

Admission to the High Museum of Art is free on the second Sunday of each month, when the museum also offers family-friendly programming, hands-on activities, performances, story times, and tours. Ticket fees are waived for visitors aged 5 and below at all times; if you’re visiting with kids, the museum offers child-friendly tours designed for families.
