This activity will end right where it started.
Make your way to Pier 8, Aloha Tower Marketplace, located about 20 minutes walking from Waikiki. On the pier, you'll be greeted by traditional Hawaiian hula dancers. 

Find your table and be seated for a 3-course crab and steak dinner. Sip a tropical cocktail and watch the live entertainment, including the presentation '60 Years of Aloha'. Climb up to the 60-foot (18-meter) wrap around deck to watch the sunset over the tropical coastline.
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 5 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability
  • Check in from 4:45PM onboard the Star of Honolulu
  • Cruise Departs at 5:30PM

The seating arrangement was not explained when purchasing. When we showed up on board the ship we had to sit at a table of six right in the middle of 4 complete strangers. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

This was a horrible dinner show cruise. We were totally blocked from the seeing the show, two of their staff members rammed into me and couldn’t care less, I told them at the end I have diabetics and was having an emergency and needed to get off first and they just yelled at me and refused any help. They also refused to let my family take home the food we couldn’t eat since we were sick so it just went into the trash. They had no special meal for children and not even a plastic cup for them to drink from. I would think twice before going on this.

It was good for the price. The food was good and the entertainment was fun. At the time we went, in May, the sun still sets over the island and not the ocean. Also be advised that the first leg of the cruise is against the waves and can rock a little. Go outside if you get seasick. The fresh air helps a lot. The second leg is much more smooth.

The Star Casual Sunset and Show dinner cruise was amazing. The dinner was a 5 star. The steak, chicken and crab were outstanding. The entertainment was spectacular. The piano singer was superb. The dance performances provided a breath taking tour of the dances and culture of the Polynesian Islands. Jason Kong was one of the most attentive and supportive host ever. My wife and another guest suffered sea sickness. Jason Kong's response with ginger tea and anti nausea tablets provided quick relief and saved the night. After my wife recovered we danced with each other, making the cruise a romantic experience, as we celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary. I will be sharing this amazing experience with Star dinner cruise. I highly recommend this dinner cruise as a must do experience for anyone touring Honolulu.
